Hi,
My company wants me to setup the ability to login via userPrincipalName as well as SAMAccountName. Currently we use LDAP and the SAM is used to authenticate, the UserID field is populated with the SAMAccountName.
My question is, how can I get the ability to also authenticate with userPrincipalName, which by the way is NOT the same as our users email addresses. I did create a new field on the sys_user table called UPN and I have the UPN vales populating to that field from LDAP connection, but how can we enable the ability to logon using the value in that field?
Thanks,
Mark.
