ServiceNow's recommendation is that any new workspaces are created using a Configurable Workspace as it begins to deprecate Agent Workspace ahead of March 2024.
To transition from the legacy agent workspace to the new Agent Workspace, you can follow these steps:
- Create a migration plan tailored to your organization's needs, including data migration, customizations, and training requirements.
- Test the new Agent Workspace in a non-production instance to ensure compatibility with your existing processes and integrations.
- Communicate the transition plan to your end-users, providing training and support as needed.
- Execute the migration plan in a controlled manner, ensuring minimal disruption to your service operations.
- Monitor and address any issues or challenges encountered during the migration process.
- Once the migration is complete, decommission the legacy agent workspace and validate the successful adoption of the new Agent Workspace.
