Loaded data cannot be recognized

Hi all, I've done data import many times using "load data" to upload csv files. sometimes I encounter this problem:
after uploading showing successful, click "Loaded data", it gives a blank page with the error message below:
"An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0x0) was found in the element content of the document."
and my transform map also showing empty source table..
Is it due to the file format /encoding or what? can any one help?

Is this type of file something you could post as an attachment? Sounds like something to do with the file itself.

It looks like it's choking on ampersands..

Hi all, problem solved! as Valor suggested, just save as xls format will do. thanks!

We tried saving as an xls as well, but that did not do the trick. Any other ideas?
