Localization Framework/Catalog Items

Hi Community,

I have a problem concerning translation of Catalog Items names. I did all the translations manually (by clicking the 'edit translation' button and then translating field by field). I already had installed Localization Framework. The 'name' field in 'sc_cat_item' is also set to 'translated text'. In 'sys_translated_text' table there are no 'duplicates' of the records, and all is set properly. Still, after changing the language in the Service Portal, catalog items display in basic English (instead of Spanish). Some of them changed after few minutes, some after few hours, some hasn't changed at all.

If anyone has an idea why it's not working, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Adam Wasilewski ,

Try clearing the instance cache and then check again. To clear instance cache try below option:

1. Type in "cache.do" in application navigator search and hit enter. Wait for some time and you would get a message as below.

or use the below URL directly to clear the cache. - https://instance.service-now.com/cache.do

Replace instance with instance name

2. Reload the instance and check again.

3. Even if this does not work then try logging in a different browser or use an incognito window and check again.

Hope this helps. Please mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.
