Making Planned and Actual Dates Editable in Project (pm_project)

Planned & Actual Date Fields Read-Only in Project – How to Make Editable?

I checked that the Planned and actual Dates are derived from Project Tasks, where the latest end date of the project tasks determines the Project’s end date. But how can make editable for project manager ?

If a Project has any Project Task or Sub Project, then Planned Start/End date filed is non-editable. 

The Planned Start/End date field of project is set based on it's Project Task/Sub Project's Planned start/end date. It aggregates from all of its dependent and set the min planned start date and max planned end date to the Top Task/Project"
