Modify Change Conflict Deteection Configuration

HI,

I wanted to modify the existing change conflict detection configuration as OOB it is checking below four field values, I wanted to add the Services as one of the attribute to Run conflict detection automatically.

• Configuration item
• Planned start date
• Planned end date
• State

I have gone through below two community links, and i referred Script include- ChangeCheckConflicts

UI Action- Check Conflicts (It is disabled) but no luck.

Can any one please help how to add another attribute "service" to the existing Conflict Detection.

Hey did you find any solution ? I'm running into similar scenario where I want to add 2 more attributes for conflict detection but I'm looking for Ideal location to modify the logic

As i check with ServiceNow, there is no feasibility to change existing attributes for change conflict detector.Below is the response from ServiceNow. Hope this might helpful.

what you are trying to achieve is not already possible in OOB as per the documentation ,means that this falls as an implementation/customisation request. Unfortunately, further implementation assistance falls beyond the scope of Support.
We can forward you to our Professional Services/Customer Outcomes department which exists purely to assist customer in implementing custom solutions. Please note this is a chargeable service.
Otherwise, please log an enhancement request in Now Support if you would like to see this functionality seen in a future release.
