Need custom request and RITM setup

Hi All,

I am planning to create the new tables for the Request RITM and Task all will be new tables under custom app.

When a catalog is submitted Request (sc_request) and  RITM (sc_req_item) will create automatically. This is OOB functionality. Now need the similar functionality with custom request and custom RITM table.

 

  1. How to disable the global feature which will creates both request and RITM? is it a flow or business rule please give me the name of the flow or Business rule?
  2. How to give the New Request table number once it submitted? if you see below screenshot request number is showing need to give new req number from custom table.catalog submition.png
  3. let me if any inputs to setup custom request management like request and RITM and task tables.

but why?

Why not use the OOTB Request logic for your custom app as well?

In your custom app/scope you can create catalog items and they can still follow the same REQ->RITM hierarchy

I won't recommend this and is not a good practice
