new additional configuration on contextual search

I have a custom table which extends task table on my instance. I am trying to configure related search on that table and i want to include that table when searching in the related searches, but it is not available in additional resource configuration list. Is there a way to add it?

This helps if it a catalog item or record producer. I have a custom table which extends Task table and I need to add it as search source.
