Hello,
Sorry for my intrusion. I'm lost.
I wanted to learn ServiceNow ITSM and GRC. I got my PDI, but I don't know where to begin.
Would anyone be able to recommend or show a step-by-step path to get started?
What learning module do I need to start?
I'm starting from zero, but I have been in IT Service Management for 10 years, and have never had the chance to work on ServiceNow.
Appreciate your patience and understanding.
Regards,
Carl

Hi @GRCNerd
Greetings!!
I am a ServiceNow trainer and happy to guide you step by step.
First of all, welcome to the ServiceNow Community—an amazing learning and sharing place!
If you have access to a PDI (Personal Developer Instance), it means you get a pre-installed ITSM basic module like Incident, Change, Problem, Request, CMDB, and some other platform features. As you mentioned, you want to start with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), so you will need to get the GRC plugin installed. You need to install the GRC-related plugin in your PDI as suggested below. Usually, we can install most plugins in a PDI, and yes, GRC is one of them.
To start learning, you can create an account on Now Learning or ServiceNow University. You can find GRC training there. Currently, all training is free of cost, so it’s a great time to start. You can also pick up ITSM training there.
As I mentioned, I am a trainer and have dedicated courses on my channel as well. Currently, I’m running my GRC batch too.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
