Dear Community members,

Good Day!

Could someone help me with below error message and response code which I am getting while trying to hit a third party endpoint. Third party tool is behind the firewall and on intranet and hence I have installed a MID server within the intranet.

However whenever I am trying to hit the endpoint using installed MID Server, getting the attached response.

Thank you in advance!!

Regards,

Navin

Hi Navin,

It simply means your mid server is unable to connect to that endpoint.

If you have access to the mid server then login to that machine and try to hit that endpoint in the browser and check whether you can reach?

Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also mark Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks
Ankur

Hi Ankur,

Thanks for your quick response!

I tried as you suggested and found that endpoint is not reachable from the host on which I have installed the mid server.

When I tried to hit the endpoint in the browser, I am getting a message "This page can't be displayed".

Could you please let me know, how this can be be resolved?

Best Regards,

Navin

Hi Navin,

If the endpoint is not reachable from the mid server itself it won't work

did you try to hit the endpoint from the browser of the mid server or from your machine i.e your laptop?

If both are in same network then it should work anyhow

Hi Ankur,

I am able to hit the endpoint from my browser and I am getting response. The only thing is that in order to hit the endpoint from the browser or postman, everytime I need to turn off the proxy. If proxy is on, I am not getting any response. I am not sure if it could be the issue?
