performance issue while closing catalog task

Hi All,

 

When I am changing the catalog task state to closed it is taking approx 3 min.

 

I have checked internet connection and all is fine.

 

Please help me what may be reason. I am facing this issue for catalog task related to specific catalog item. While other catalog item task are closing without any issue.

Hi @Mukul Sharma 

You can use debugging tools like "System Diagnostics > Session Debug" or the Transaction Log to identify if any specific script or process is taking an excessive amount of time when the task is closed.

Additionally, when creating a flow in the designer with multiple tasks, ensure that the wait condition for the SC task action is set to false, and check if any execution flows are running.

Hi @Mukul Sharma , 

You need to check, what is additional on this catalog compare to others.

Any form value is trying to check any validation which is taking long time, check if form has any reference item where source table has high number of record.

Hi @Mukul Sharma ,

 

You need to check what there is running when closing this particular catalog task, since no other catalog task is having the same behavior. Look into client scripts, scripts include, business rule etc.
