Populate group based on requested for user selected

Can someone share the sample script to populate the groups based on the requested for selected in catalog item.

Hi,

 

I have requested for field on catalog item, and field existing groups. When ever we select  value in the requestor field, then we need to populate the groups mapped to requested for user automatically

Thanks for update, is it is 1-1 mapping or a user can be part of many groups?
