Portal annotation link to KBA inside form

Hi,

For a SN instance - we have a form views inside the portal. Inside these form views, we want to add some knowledge articles links. For example - if one form view is rendering the section "Resolution info" on the INC, then we'd like to show the KB related to this particular section, see an example from my PDI how it is configured in Native UI. Keep in mind this is an example to showcase and not the exact requirement

In the native UI , this is easily done with Annotations, but they will not apply in portal, as other threads have described.

Solution proposals so far:

  • URL field which will show the URL, then client script to beautify it onLoad, not preferable as we then need to extend the table
  • Custom widget, which will show the KB link

Is there any low config or possibly fully OOB way to do this? Anything similar to annotations in portal?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @herman1

1) Configure the Knowledge Related Articles widget instance options for the Knowledge Management article view page in the Knowledge Management Service Portal. These options relate to the list of related articles mapped to an article.

Refer servicenow Doc: Configure knowledge related articles widget instance options
