Post button not available on journal_input field.

We have two journal_input fields comments, work notes on the catalog task form. The post button is available only for work notes and not comments. How do I get it even for the other field too?

Can you try looking at the form layout and make sure that work notes is right below additional comments.  There appears to be something in between them.  Looking at it in form designer may be easier.

Hi,

I looked at the form layout and it has RITM Comments & Work Notes too. But I could find these on form or list view too.

When I try to record something on addl. comments, they're not recorded on the activity filter like you see in below image. I modified the description, work notes and they are recorded in the activity filter.

I would remove the requested item.comments.  It looks like you have the requested item comment and the task comments on the same form.  It may be displaying the wrong one so it will not show properly in the comments and the post will not work as the post is for the task fields.

I had created a third filed in my system and noticed that the post button did not work for it until I added it to the activity filter.  Make sure you Additional Comments is listed in the activity filter.

I tried the same and added the Additional Comments to Activity filter. But it did not help and I should still save the addl. comments using the 'Update' button or saving the form.
