How do I set up re-occuring schedules for PM's? I would think this is at the CI level but I cant seem to find it. Basically I want to set up Monthly and Quarterly PM's for several classes of CI's. I would select the CI's that need the PM and have it automaticially generate some object (Incident or Task or Change, whatever)
Thanks!

Use Templates. Create a Template for the type of Object you want to create (Incident, Change, etc.). Once the template is created, you can schedule the generation of this type of Task.

To set up recurring schedules for PM's, you will need to use a tool that can manage and automate your maintenance tasks. One popular option is a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
In a CMMS or EAM software, you can create a PM schedule for each class of CI's that you want to maintain. You can specify the frequency of the PM tasks (e.g. monthly, quarterly), the duration of the task, and the specific actions required for each task.
Once you have set up the PM schedule, you can select the CI's that need the PM and the CMMS or EAM software will automatically generate a work order for the maintenance task. The work order can be in the form of an Incident, Task, or Change record, depending on your requirements.
Some CMMS or EAM software also allow you to set up automatic notifications and reminders for PM tasks, which can help ensure that the maintenance tasks are completed on time.
