Project: Planned effort change from 24hr to 8hr

At the moment projects "planned efforts" calculate 1day = 24 hours. This really hard for project managers and looking to change 8hr date. Is there any way to change "planned effort" same as business hours 1day=8hr?

HS_ATT - I attended the North Texas SN User Group yesterday and I was asking the question regarding this subject.   Our company is behind in the upgrade process, so we're still on Berlin.   My understanding is that there have been updates to the PPM, which may include more options for the duration calc.   I'd contact your SN account manager and let them explore the options.
