"You have been mentioned.." notification trigger for both incident and incident task

When we mentioned a user in the incident task, mentioned notification should trigger to that user .In this case, notes activity is copied to the incident but mentioned notification triggered again for the incident. We got two notifications for both incident task and incident, we have checked the live_notification table there are  two records created for the notification but it should create one record for incident task

Can someone please help on this where to check the configuration.

It's most likely due to the notification is configured for 'Record is Inserted or Updated' and both the Insert and Updated checkboxes are set to Yes.

I would try to uncheck Updated.
