Receiving error, when clicking on Request Approval on Standard Change Request

Hi Team,

When we clicking on Request Approval button in Standard Change Template, receiving below error in prod.

when we are doing this in Test, we are able to do Request Approval, Approval is also Triggering

You need to check your Change Approval Policies in the left nav, to compare them to a working instance, correct them, or try to export them and import to Prod.

Hi,

Assuming you've migrated over to Flow Designer, and have activated 'Change - Standard - Proposal' this error message will be triggered if approval is skipped. Step 24 in the flow calls an action, which calls the StdChangeUtils script include.

If you look at sysapproval_approver, do you see approval records? Does the change management group have active users who can approve the proposal? Is there a custom BR that might be changing approval behaviour?

Hi @Gopal14 ,

I think there are no approvers attached this proposal, go to Related Records tab and check approvers.

This is typically handled in the below workflow, which will trigger approvals to the "Change Management" group, could you please if you have members in this group in Prod? if not add and you should be fine!
