Hi All,
I have created a record producer in global scope but it should be created on a different scope . So now what should I do ? Should I create a new update set changing the scope and restart the catalog from beginning or is it possible to change the scope from global to custom without harming my development ? Also I want to know if I can change the application scope from custom to global as well ?
Please suggest.
Thank you.

Hi @1_DipikaD
If you can rework, better to create RP again in the correct scope. I read somewhere, that we cant change the scope or if we do it is via XML.

Hello @1_DipikaD ,
I agree with @Dr Atul G- LNG , it is not possible to change the scope and also it is not recommended. If possible please create it again in correct scope.
Please mark my answer as accepted solution and give thumbs up, if it helps you.

what all components did you create in wrong scope?
If those are very few like 1 record producer, 3-4 variables then create fresh in correct update set of that scope.
If those are large then you will have to play with the XML of that record but it's time consuming process.
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
