Require Video Conferencing (CMDB CI class ) Table Details

Hi All,

We have requirement to load "Video Conferencing" data into Servicenow (through data source excel sheet). But I'm not able to find any table with name "Video Conferencing". So now I'm looking for any alternative table to load "Video Conferencing" data.

It should includes below fields:

System ID,System Name, Network Address, Specific Type,System Type,System Category,Link Down,Link Up,Lost Response,Got Response,Gatekeeper Registration.  (some fields matches then also its fine)

Please provide your suggestions. Thanks in Advance....!!!

Through Studio, you could create a custom module/app that extends the CMDB_CI table. Then you can create a custom form that has the fields you require and place

We are using the same cmdb_ci_peripheral class to store Video Conf devices.

Thanks for the suggestions but I wonder why the Video Conferencing system is termed as Computer peripheral in cmdb_ci_peripheral ?

I found below the description of this class which does not seem to be for VC.

Various computer peripherals such as monitor, docking station, KVM switch, projector, scanner, keyboard, mouse, and UPS.

Instead, I think the below class is closer.

Communication Device

Communication devices information. A choice list containing devices such as cellphone, phone, conference phone, and Wi-Fi.

I had a similar situation, and I never was able to solve it. I hope that you will be able to find a solution. Video conferencing is really trendy now, and I love it. I have severe muscle pain, and I have to visit my physiotherapist six times a month which is a problem for me since I travel 2-3 times a month. Luckily, I was able to find the best telehealth software which really saved me. Thanks to the fact that today we can do everything via an online conference and I’m being able to keep in touch with my doctor from any place in the world.
