Restrict the ability to adjust the assignment group field in a catalog task, from specific groups

Hi there,

Wanted to see if there's a way to not allow someone to change the assignment group in a catalog task to a specific list of assignment groups. We have some assignment groups that do not work catalog tasks, so want to remove the ability from someone being able to change the assignment group to one of these should the need arise. In our environment team members are still understanding the difference between the incidents / requests, so occasionally having to reroute, thus the changing. But, we have team members that pick a random assignment group and hope for the best, so wanting to limit this. Am assuming a client script would fit the bill, but unsure of design..

Hi, 

You can achieve that via reference qualifier on Assignment Group field. You can override reference qualifier for catalog task and hide the groups which you don't want to display in Catalog tasks.
