Service Catalog : how to consolidate the multiple catalog items into 1 item

I am not sure why you need to do so but below link might help or you can do an Order Guide to request multiple items

can you merge one service catalog item with the other one   in the same instance?

What is it that you want to merge? if it's to take all variables and put them in 1 item, you can go to item_option_new table and just move all the others to the one catalog item item by just changing the "catalog item field".
