ServiceNow In-Application Notifications

Dear @Chuck Tomasi@Sandeep Rajput@AshishKM,

 

We have a situation where customer is asking for below requirement.

 

"Currently, we do not get notified in ServiceNow platform itself when receiving notifications/mails. All notifications be sent through email only. We want to allow some notifications to be sent as an in-application notifications in the header side bar or anywhere easy to find (for example, to notify users of changes to their incidents or if there is any new delegation performed, etc...) in which any real-time notifications directly shown within ServiceNow platform and email notifications.

 

Therefore, in case of email notification is down; we will still be notified through the system. Kindly assist us on the feasibility of this in-app notification?"

 

Kindly provide suggestions on aforementioned point.

I doubt this is possible, because you use either of way, it must pass via email server.

 

If i understood, you need something , email in SN itself like we have connect bar / side bar?
