Hi Folks ,
Good Day !
Could somebody please let me know if someone has performed service now integration with InsghtVM ?
If yes, is there any specific requirement needed at servicenow end to perform this integration. I was going through article published under https://insightvm.help.rapid7.com/v1.0/docs/ticketing-integration-for-remediation-workflow-projects and as per the article only servicenow URL and an account with below permissions required to integrate InsightVM with servicenow.
- admin
OR - itil_admin
- itil
- mid_server
Thanks in advance !!
Best Regards,

Hi
Thats inbound from Rapid7 to ServiceNow. Admin is not a recommended role to add to your Service Account. But other roles could be added. Honestly ITIL and MID server role provides more higher level garrulity to make Rest/SOAP calls. Thats a built in connection from source. Other than using built in connection, best bet would be using scripted webservices/rest using SOAP/REST calls. Thats a controlled approach. but using built in connection is easy and fast with no code.

Hi Shashi,
Thank for your quick response !
If I understood your reply correctly, we can integrate InsightVM with servicenow using built in connection as described under link https://insightvm.help.rapid7.com/v1.0/docs/ticketing-integration-for-remediation-workflow-projects ?
Thanks,
