ServiceNow integration with InsightVM

Hi Folks ,

Good Day !
Could somebody please let me know if someone has performed service now integration with InsghtVM ?

If yes, is there any specific requirement needed at servicenow end to perform this integration. I was going through article published under https://insightvm.help.rapid7.com/v1.0/docs/ticketing-integration-for-remediation-workflow-projects and as per the article only servicenow URL and an account with below permissions required to integrate InsightVM with servicenow.

According to this thread, Did you integrate with InsightVM?


How did you configure Ticketing setup in InsightVM.


I could integrate with ServiceNow easily.



I am wondering how do you configure it within InsightVM? Especially, "Ticketing Project and Field Mapping" part.


I read through InsightVM help below link, but it didn't help me much.

Please note I have not integrated InsightVM with ServiceNow completely yet.

Above article only talks about 1 way integration (From InsightVM to Servicenow) but that has it's own challenges as you mentioned above.


Please let me know if you have found any solution for it.

I have integrated. I could see there are a lot of configuration if you want to customize ticket detailed. It is a bit of challenges and I have to consider the operation to not complicated.

Hi Sashi,

Did you have success with the built in connection?  We have an account with the required roles but unable to connect with the interface.  We even tried an admin account but that fails as well.
