Single Signon, Two ID's, How to Switch Between Them?

Is there an easy way to switch between two user ID's when you're using single sign-on?

At the moment the only way I see around this is to actually log off our windows session and re-login with the administrator ID and then launch service now.   We don't want to automatically log in as an admin...

Right now, we we launch the browser, we're placed in the Service Now environment using the credentials from our current window's ID.   That is really inconvenient, so I'm looking to see if there is a way to activate a login screen through the browser.

The reason I'm asking this question is we usually log into our workstation using our normal ID and when we need to do elevated priv work, present our administrator's ID.

Not sure if I understand this correctly, but I try making use of 'Private' window or 'incognito' window for using 2 accounts

The incognito window is a good idea, unfortunately when I tired it, Chrome just picked up my windows login credentials and dutifully passed them through...   I guess it works too good!

Similarly, I use different browsers altogether, that way it's super easy for me to follow which user is which window.

I've tried opening SN in both Chrome and IE and both go straight to the instance.

The issue is that ADFS is set to automatically pass credentials.   SideDoor doesn't use ADFS, it uses LDAP, so it doesn't pickup ithe IDS.

The SideDoor may be our solution, but to do so means we have to maintain ID's in Service Now.   I'm trying to avoid that as I want all the ID's managed by Active Directory via our IDM solution.

Hi Kris,

Didn't realize your SSO was a Windows integrated auth.

I think the only way you could override that without /side_door.do and separate ID's would be a virtual machine or physical machine that you could RDP to and log in from. I'm not sure which option is more of a headache for you...
