How does ServiceNow software asset management support Software Identification (SWID) Tags? I searched docs.servicenow.com and surprisingly got no hits.

Have you thought of using Asset tags for this?

SWID tags are more appropriately linked at the software model level not the
asset level but they are more than just a tag. A SWID tag is a structured
set of data elements that identify and describe a software product and is
meant to be used for discovering, monitoring, and managing software
throughout its life cycle which is the goal of ServiceNow Software Asset
Management which I was surprised not even one hit.
