What is the differences in "software installations" and "software installed" tab in the computer CI form? We have both tabs. The software installations has no data but the software installed is populated. We use SCCM data import to populate the computer CIs.
Also Software Installed seems to keep a list of software that was ever installed on a computer. It doesn't remove software that is no longer installed. Is that how it is suppose to work?
Thanks in advanced,

Hello,
Are you only using SCCM or do you have SN Discovery also? If your only using SCCM, you need make sure to use "SCCM 2012 v2 Software (AI)" data source with Transfer map "Incremental Import (SAM enabled) 2012 v2" going to "Software Installation [cmdb_sam_sw_install]" table. The reason for the two different tables are Asset SAM plugin. Before the plugin the software was installed under the cmdb "cmdb_ci_spkg" table. WIth SAM and the SW counters, everything is under the new table "cmdb_sam_sw_install". Check link below for help in migrated SW data if you have it in old table vs new.
