SOW Edit View

Recently I updated our Service Operation Workspace application to 6.1.7 from 5.x and I see there is a new feature to edit a record from the list view. However, when I click that edit button to view the form on the right pane, it says "This form has not been configured for Workspace. To edit the form, select a different type of record, or contact your administrator". How do I find what view it's using and creating/editing the view to be able to edit the record?

I should also include that this is only occurring on custom made lists in the SOW, not the prebuilt ones despite the record residing on the same table (cmdb, incident, change, etc.).

In this video I show how you can add and rearrange fields to a workspace form without having to use UI Builder. Don't put off making small tweaks to your workspaces if you thought you needed to make those with UI Builder. #servicenow #workspace #ux #userexperience #administration #admin
