Need help on ATF

We have one variable , it is not visible in portal. while submit the request , ritm and sc_task is generated.

when i open the  sc_task record, variable is visible and it is mandatoy.

so how can i achieve in ATF, I have used set variable value  but it is not working as expected. I am getting error -

g_form  is not defined.

I have created this step after open the existing record.

In ATF, you can test a variable only when it is available in the catalog item.

Are you getting the error at the task level or at the item level?
And are you testing the variable at the item level?

I have created a step - set variable value after open the existing record(sc_task).

I am getting this error.
