I have a workflow which is created with Flow Designer.
When a request is rejected, I see the the stage icons as below instead of 'X'
What should I do for displaying 'X' icon?
Waiting for your help please. Thanks.

Hi,
Stages in Flow Designer can be in one of five states: pending, in progress, skipped, complete or error. As you can see there is nothing similar to Approval rejected like in workflows. The way that I understand it is that although the request was rejected the stage Waiting for Approval 1 has been completed, no matter if it was approved or rejected stage has finished. Two other stages did not start because it was rejected so they are visible as skipped.
Although the visual representation is misleading there is some logic in it. Stages in flows were added in London so maybe they will be enhanced in the future. But I think that ServiceNow must think about the visual representation of stages in flows.
Hope this helped.
Best regards,
Łukasz

Hi,
as you can see, the approvals have been skipped, hence the "skipped icon".
Or are you saying the first (Completed) line was actually a rejection?

Hi Lukasz,
I added error stage to my flow and it started to display 'X' for rejection, however the explanation is not rejected, but error. The screenshots are attached.
I agree you that ServiceNow must think about the visual representation of stages in flows.
Thanks for your response 🙂

Hi Oya,
Would you be able to provide more detail as to how you were able to get the error stage to trigger. I'm encountering a similar issue as your original post, I've added the error stage, but I cant figure out how to get an approval rejection to trigger the error stage.
