Struggling to Get Back IT Assets from Remote Employees | Any Suggestions or Integrations?

As listed in the title, we’re running into consistent challenges recovering IT assets from remote and hybrid employees during offboarding. We’re using ServiceNow for our offboarding workflows, but there seem to be some gaps when it comes to physical asset recovery (unless I'm just missing something). Not sure if anything exists to address this, but here are a few pain points we’re trying to solve:

 

• Can you trigger asset return tasks automatically during offboarding?
• Can ServiceNow send shipping instructions or labels directly to the employee?
• How are you handling asset retrieval for fully remote or field-based employees?

 

We’d love to hear how others are approaching this in ServiceNow so we can spend less time manually managing and coordinating asset returns. Thank you ahead of time!

We actually have a ReadyCloud app on the ServiceNow Marketplace that helps automate this and solve a lot of the issues you mentioned. When someone is offboarded, they get a QR code for easy drop-off at UPS, no packing or label needed.  Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but happy to try and answer any questions you might have!

I actually never thought about looking at the ServiceNow Marketplace, I will take a look! Thanks for the information!
