Task Intelligence for ITSM in run background only mode in production

Hi All,

If we enable Task Intelligence for ITSM in run background only mode in production, will it have any performance impact on agents or end users during incident record creation or updates? Are there any best practices to consider?

Any insights or recommendations from your experience would be very helpful.

From my experience, it likely won’t improve. However, if there’s anything that could be helpful for agents in supporting the work, that would be useful.

As a follow‑up, if Task Intelligence for ITSM is enabled in background‑only (monitoring) mode in Production and later transitioned to auto‑fill or recommendations, does the background execution have any performance impact for end users or agents during incident creation or updates?
