unable to assign tickets to user - "invalid reference" when clicking 'assigned to'

Hi,

We have assigned the itil_admin role to some users however have noticed we are unable to assign tickets to these users. When we type their name in the assigned to field, 'invalid reference' is displayed. The user is present in the user table and they are able to login and log tickets and access the admin view of the portal, we just cannot assign tickets to them. See screenshot

 

Please can you advise?

Right click on assigned_to field and configure Dictionary

Also make sure user is member of the assignment group called Service Desk.

If user is not member of the group then it will not show up in assigned to.

Try this , 

 

Remove the Service Desk from the Assignment Group, and then try to fill the assigned to and then populate the assignment group . OR Simly as suggested by Mike Patel

Hi - no this hasnt worked...

 

I cannot see this user is the 'assigned to' user options at all, the user is in the correct assignment groups..

 

any other ideas?
