unable to remove a question from survey designer

Friends,

Unable to remove a question from PIR survey in survey designer.

The X mark not showing up to remove . I am unable to remove the highlighted one, but in our DEV environment I am able to do so.

Recently we upgraded to Orlando, both Dev and Prod are in orlando version.

Can you help me please?

But it reappears as soon as you hit save.

Once you answer a question for the survey you cannot delete the question. The only option is to mark it as inactive or edit the question. 

Dragging it off the canvas will look like you removed it but upon saving the form, the question will reappear.

A question may not be deleted if the question has been answered on survey instances instead it can be marked by going into the question from the back end.

Navigate to >View Surveys>Select the survey> select the metric on related list> open the question and mark it inactive.

To be able to delete this metric (question), you must first delete all related metric results from the asmt_metric_result table. Until this is done, ACL will block the deletion of the metric.

This just worked for me. I guess it makes sense - you can't measure against that survey anymore because the survey is different.
