Update Set created in wrong application - how do I move it?

Hi folks,

I've created an Update Set in TEST, created some catalogue items and noticed later that I had created them in the incorrect application.  How do I move the update set I've created into a different application so that I don't have to re-do my work?  Thanks.

Hi,

Are you able to create a new update set in that application, then open the incorrect update set and right-click the blue breadcrumb trail and pick "open in new window":

Then in the update set column, you can press ctrl+click and drag down each record/update set item to select multiple, then double-click the last highlighted entry and reassign to the correct update set?

Hi Allen, thanks for the quick reply.  I was with you right to the step to double-click on the last highlighted item and got the response that "security prevents editing this field".  I'm an Admin.  This application was one created by our implementer and it gives me grief sometimes.  On the bright side, I note that I didn't do as much work in this update set as I thought, so if I have to recreate, it's not a huge amount of work. 

I'll look at a couple of the other suggestions and see if I can make headway there.  Thanks very much.

Hi

create new update set and make it current(which you want to move)

then open already created update set and see the related links

"add current update set" (select wanted records)

when you will do this updated changes capture into  newly created update set.

and complete and move.

Hi SNOW, thank you for your response.  My version is Kingston.  I do not see the option to "Add Current Update Set" under the Related Links within the errant update set once I've opened it. I see the option to Merge with another update set.  I have explored this option and don't see a process that resolves my issue.
