I'm trying to move some update sets and keep receiving errors. Here's a list of the errors I'm receiving:
On one that says "found a local update that is newer than this one" it has a different workflow name and that is the only difference, why would the workflow name be different?
The one for the wf_workflow, the workflow is in place in the system.
Can anyone provide any guidance on what i should be looking for/at.
Thanks,
Linda

Was this catalog item moved to higher instance earlier and did somebody make changes to this item directly in the higher instance? or deleted it?
These are some of the reasons why you may be getting the error.
Also, is the catalog item, and the UI Policies captured in different update sets?

I'm looking at this now. All update sets were created in our DEV environment. These are the errors I get when I try to move the update sets to our Test environment. To my knowledge all items were captured in the appropriate update sets.

Hi,
Please check the workflow and catalog item on which you are working. You may have created catalog item and workflow in another update set which is not moved to next instance.
I guess you modified wrong workflow and changed name and for the same same workflow modified version is available on another instance.
Thanks,
Anil Lande

Workflows were created in one update set and the catalog items in a separate update set, but i made sure to commit the workflow update set first. Is there something different I should be doing?
As far as the local updates, would that be something that was done with a servicenow installed patch?
