Update set state remains on COMMITTING.

Hello,

 

I wanted to commit an update set that has about 200 customer updates, but it's been displaying committing since last Friday. Please I need help to resolve this because I haven't experienced it before. What could cause this problem and how do I resolve it the best way please?
