i created a record in update set A
lets say i created a varibel in catalog item
now i created a new update set b
now saving the record in where current update set b
should move all the record?

Hi,
You can open your default Update Set and select the updates you want to move to your current Update Set (in this case, 'trapeze app'). Then, change the 'Update Set' field value to the new one you created ('trapeze app'). Repeat this process for all updates you wish to move from the default to the new Update Set. Once completed, you no longer need to move the default Update Set; you can work with your new Update Set ('trapeze app')

You can open your default Update Set and select the updates you want to move to your current Update Set (in this case, 'trapeze app'). Then, change the 'Update Set' field value to the new one you created ('trapeze app'). Repeat this process for all updates you wish to move from the default to the new Update Set. Once completed, you no longer need to move the default Update Set; you can work with your new Update Set ('trapeze app')

That's is wrong pratice and not promote that, once an update set closed should not be re open. That is process and development violation and sad you accept that answer as well as solution.

Where did I mention that we need to reopen a completed Update Set? I'm referring to working within the current Update Set only
