Users with Can Contribute rights to their knowledge base are unable to edit or publish their article

I have two users who either cannot edit or publish their own knowledge articles they have can contribute permissions.  I have checked the knowledge base and they are included in the user criteria for can contribute rights and I have checked their user profiles.  Each have the knowledge role.  What other troubleshooting steps can I take?

 

We are using the San Diego version.

Hello @Mkcaruso ,

Search "User Criteria Diagnostics" under Knowledge module and in that select user and Knowledge Article or Knowledge Base and then you can see the if that user is able to read or update that article or knowledge base.

Please check the below screenshot for your reference.
