Using Flow Designer to assign a fulfillment task

Hi all,

I am fairly new to using the flow designer. I have a requirement to trigger a fulfillment task to an assignment group 'ABC' after the request is submitted on the portal.

Any tips on how this can be achieved?

Thanks,

Mallika

You can achieve this in Flow Designer very easily!

First, start your new flow and choose "Service Catalog" as the trigger:

Then, select "Create Catalog Task" as the action:

Use the "Requested Item" pill from the trigger section:

...and then just fill out what you want to appear on the fulfilment task itself for "Short Description", etc. Make sure you are setting the Assignment Group, if you want the fulfillment task to go to a particular team for fulfillment...and don't forget to associate the flow with your Catalog Item (see below), when you are done!

Hi @mallikabhupathi,

The best path to start with Flow Design, a nowlearning course which will give introduction over navigation, input, output, execution, log.  If its simple flow to assign a task to group then use the workflow.
