Hi 

Basically we use workflow for automating our processes i.e if we want to trigger notification, aprrovals, creating tasks after the approvals.

We use the timers,approvals, notification mainly.

Hi Danielle,

Each workflow consists of a sequence of activities, such as generating records, notifying users of pending approvals, or running scripts.
