What does this table do - ua_table_licensing_config

While moving update sets from Helsinki to Geneva instance, we came across an error that table - ua_table_licensing_config, is not present. This was not a custom table created by us, any insights/thoughts?

Hi Shravan,

This table has to do with the Usage Analytics feature added in Helsinki. It's our way to allow you to track licensing of your products. Who is using what, how many you bought, how many you have left. The Helsinki instance reports back to HI and keeps us informed while providing you a dashboard to keep track of your licenses much better.

(wishing I could find a link in Helsinki docs)

Hi Shravan,

Its not a best practice/recommended to move changes from higher to lower version. This conflict happens(for ex a new field which is introduced H release which might refer to OOTB table you mention) above is not present in G release.

Yes, I agree Pradeep. However, in certain seldom situations as may be aware, we are to adhere to the reveres approach. While its not recommended practice, but technically its feasible.

However, my question focus is to get to know what is the table all about? The purpose? I know for sure its the H, but what's it crafted for?

Thanks,

Shravan M

I can dig it further may be tomorrow. However service now doesn't support moving changes from higher to lower version.
