You question is not clear. Please elaborate in brief and if possible share screenshot. What is service desk? A field ? If it is a field then what kind of field it is (reference, choice, check box etc.) ? If it should not be empty then what value it should contain? Is this an issue or you want to achieve this as part of requirement?

currently ,when the incident is closed ,all fields become read only. now we need to make this field editable if the user has role knowledge_manager. using business rule in servicenow
