Hello all.
I'm new to Service Now so I'm till learning the ropes. My first task as a new admin is to enable a couple of plugins that require user accounts created with 'web service access only' enabled. Unfortunately, when I create new users this checkbox is not listed. All documentation I find states that this is supposed to be enabled by default. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get this enabled? I assume that the user form has this disabled, but I'm not sure how to even get to that form.
Thank for the help!

Hi Alikutty,
I know its an very old post, But I was facing same issue and with your XML if got resolved and the field is now visible in user table.
But the issue is user can still login via login.do page.
I imported this xml in sys_user table.
Thanks a lot 🙂

Hi there,
Web service access only is a checkbox on the User form. Just open the User record, and switch Default view.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hey Mark,
No luck. I went into a record and changing the views didn't show the checkbox.
Thanks!

Hey, Peter. This is an old post but I figured someone might still need an answer to this:
Older instances do not have the plugin for non-interactive sessions. You'll want to install that to get this feature working. Here's the supporting KB article from ServiceNow proper: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0792532

Note: If you don't see it in your All Applications list it will need to be requested from ServiceNow.
