While doing incident bulk update/ resolution, SNOW is not verifying whether the assigned to person b

Hi All,

 

While updating assignment group in bulk from list view snow is not recognizing whether the user is part of the group or not. While updating assignment group , the groups get updated but users in assigned to field remains the same even they are not part of the updated group. Should I raise a case to ServiceNow to fix it as this is oob functionality. ?

that's OOTB platform behavior when you do bulk edit in native or workspace

When you do bulk update it doesn't respect the reference qualifier or dependent field and hence this is the issue

If you still want to restrict then you can have a custom business rule for this.
