Hi
a VIP user is just a user with the value "true" for the respective field at table sys_user:
This flag does not bring any additional feature or rights OOTB but may be used in your company the mark users with a VIP status.
For example if the Caller at a Incident record has the VIP flag set then a special field style will add an icon right beside the field:
Kind regards
Maik

Hi,
As Maik mentioned, there are some system features that would apply if a user has VIP enabled on their user profile.
You may want to also get with your peers (as I think Capgemini is a SN partner?) and get their assistance for this as it's a pretty basic question and they can explain how they use it.
