Why are users not visible to impersonate?

Hello,

unfortunately I cannot select all users in my developer instance for impersonation. Does anyone know how I can add them again? Some are visible and some are not.

Thank you very much.

Max

You should check to see if any of these are true for those users you cannot see.

The scenarios mentioned below pertain to the user that is being selected from the Impersonate User search bar-
1. User has an inactive account or is locked out
2. User is an admin (non-admin users cannot impersonate an admin user, even if they have the impersonator role)
3. User has the "Web service access only" checkbox selected

Hi Max,

Please provide those users the "impersonator" role.

Only the User with the impersonator role will show in that search list of impersonation.

Please mark as correct or helpful if my solution helped you to solve your query.

Hi there,

Can you identify which users you cannot impersonate? Do they have a specific role for example? Maybe there's a read ACL or query Business rule in place?

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.

Kind regards,
Mark

Yes, thank you! The user I wanted to impersonate had the checkbox "Locked out" activated.

Another question now:

I have several users who have the box selected and I would like to know how it is possible to search for all users that have the checkbox selected. Afterwards, I would like to change all the entries simultaneously. Is there a possibility to achieve this?
