Why do SP use Angular JS ? Angular 2 or 8 any any compatibility issues for SNOW with SP design ?.

Do SNOW will get to use Angular 2+ versions in the future . When Angure 2... 8 versions are out in the market , Why the SP is designed with Angular JS. any reason. Just for the information

AngularJS was a good idea at the time and had a lot of skilled developers in the field ready to go. If you ask now though, you'll get a few eye rolls from the ServiceNow bods since the announcement of AngularJS death.

 

ServiceNow are moving to their own UI framework to remove dependencies on other peoples code and not run into another AngularJS issue in the future. Can read more about the Noe Experience UI Framework below
