Abstract:
ING is a global financial institution offering banking services through its operating company. The purpose of ING is empowering people to stay a step ahead in life and in business, which is outlined in ING’s Think Forward Strategy. ING employs approximately 50,000 employees in retail and wholesale banking to customers in more than 40 countries. To achieve this strategy, a transformation office was set up in 2015 to improve value for money, executional certainty, strategic alignment, and design assurance. That same year, ING also adopted "The ING Way of Working." Since then, they've been largely working in line with agile methodology, the same method used by companies like Spotify, Netflix, and Google. It's a revolutionary step that has had a considerable impact on ING, how they use ServiceNow solutions, and how they partner together with ServiceNow on future development.
